The weather was glorious on Tuesday October 20th for the Alliance Meditation Garden Dedication and Reception. Art Ross, former pastor at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, offered a dedication to the beautifully finished meditation garden. Executive Director Sean Harrison and other Alliance staff gave tours and offered thanks to the approximately 30 guests in attendence.
Alliance patient Gail Johnson said a few words of thanks for how her health and life has been dramatically impacted since discovering the Grace clinic a few years back. “I owe Alliance my life”, Gail said. “Everytime I come for an office visit, even if it’s just a check-up, I”m much better than when I arrived because you can tell everyone genuinely cares.”

On Saturday October 17th Alliance held it’s Annual Fall Festival along with El Pueblo & Dr. Adelman, and sponsored by the North Raleigh Rotary. A sincere thank you goes out to all those who provided effort and support at this years fair. The event was well attended and Dr. Abbott did 180 blood sugar checks and nearly as many blood pressures, oral exams and eye exams were conducted as well.
There were several resource exhibits that helped make this event a great opportunity to helping educate the working uninsured of Wake County. Way to go everyone!
